Weather-Viz is an application that uses Python, C#, Meshroom, Blender, and the Unity XR development software to take a user’s location and generate high-quality visualizations of the weather in that location over the next 16 days. Our tool uses computer vision to create 3D renderings of users’ locations based on images from Google StreetView and real-time weather data to produce immersive, highly personalized experiences that adapt to parameters like precipitation and wind speed. The use cases of our application include planning out events like picnics, hikes, and even weddings!
