Inspiration

As university students who enjoy travelling in small groups, we wanted to create an application to improve the organization and safety of a group trip.

What it does

For improved organization, all members of the group know the itinerary and allocation of expenses. For improve safety, all members can view safety alerts in the country of travel and they have the option to track one another's location.

How I built it

We used Node, Express, and Google Maps API for back end, React, Material-UI, and HTML/CSS for front end, & Sketch, Invisionapp, Photoshop for UI/UX prototyping.

What I learned

A lot about GCP, React, and front-end development

What's next for Wandrful

Improve the user interface to make it even more fun and interesting for the users, so that users have one less thing to worry about on their travels.

I worked mainly with React
working on both frontend and backend in the integration of Maps using the Google Maps API, as well as the integration of a calendar to record their daily itineraries.
