Negative Trauma.
No matter its method, or means, its weight, its restricted access, or the best programmable omnipresence can afford, the solution to the problems of AI will always be located somewhere within the solution to a very real human problem.
Today we invest in a long-term strategic investment.
NOT simply to solve the AI problem.
But because the AI problem is, ultimately, a human problem.
They are one and the same.
If AI saves humanity, humanity must save itself.
And there must be something worth saving.
For me, this work is also deeply personal.
I entered homelessness through a series of deceptions.
The only way out was to trace the way in.
What I found was even more troubling than homelessness itself.
I found patterns of deception that appeared to flourish wherever accountability dissolved. I experienced them most profoundly within anonymous recovery communities—not because anonymity is inherently wrong, but because anonymity without accountability can become an architecture that protects deceit as easily as it protects the vulnerable.
I don't yet know what to call this phenomenon.
It deserves documentation before it deserves a name.
That realization changed everything.
I stopped asking how I became homeless.
I started asking why our systems continue to reward deception as though it were progress.
That question became an architecture.

These are NOT simply projects.
They are one continuous investigation.
One continuous attempt to help humanity help itself.
One continuous attempt to reduce the advantage of deception without sacrificing the freedom anonymity can provide.
I believe anonymity will become one of the defining inequalities of the AI age.
Used to protect the vulnerable, it is indispensable.
Used to gain unfair advantage, it compounds just as likes and followers once did.
The mathematics change very little.
Only the scale.
Perhaps the next great breakthrough in AI will NOT be more intelligence.
Perhaps it will be architectures that reduce the value of deception.
Perhaps peace itself can become a compounding technology.
That is my wager.
That is my investment.
