Inspiration
Our team is a group of exchange student that study in Korea and saw a garbage problem and we also have this issue in our home town so we want to solve this problem with the solution that every one gain benefits. Let me tell you a short story what we experienced here in the last 6 months at Korea. All the time when all of us go out of our living space we always encounter old moms or old workers constantly trying hard to collect all the trash and force themselves to carry all the weight to a Recycling Centre. This made us think why do the owner of the trash deposit people not send themself to the Recycling Centre. Why don't the government help to solve this issue? All this time collecting waste many times will cause a lot of money to be spend to be make contract with the sub companies to cover whole Korea. This also made us think there is no habit of recycling in our own countries thus that's why we want to help people gain money , recycle and provide income for those who need while maintaining a low cost for the government.
What it does
Our platform is a garbage management platform that have many benefit for users that is using our platform and better system for the government to manage the garbage in city. Users benefit from the platform's simple and effective waste management system, which includes incentives for garbage disposal and recycling through our services. Smart scheduling allows consumers to be advised of collection times, track the garbage they make, and even contribute to a cleaner environment by adopting eco-friendly practices.
How we built it
- Problem Identification: We started by discussing the challenges present in our surroundings, such as issues people face with waste management, access to pickup services, or green technology adoption. From this, we mapped out unmet needs and defined the focus of the app.
- Inclusive Solution: We designed a solution that is not only effective but also easily accessible to everyone, whether they have limited technical skills or are tech-savvy.
- Team Division: We split our development team into two members each, each with clear responsibilities. One focuses on mobile app development using Flutter, while the other handles web development with React.
- Multiplatform Development: We committed to building an application that is accessible on both mobile devices and web platforms, giving users flexibility in how they use our service.
- Mobile Development with Flutter: For the mobile platform, we chose Flutter because of its development speed and ability to create multiplatform apps .
- Web Development with React: On the web side, we used React to develop an interactive and responsive web application.
- Database Integration: We integrated data from both mobile and web platforms into a single centralized database, allowing real-time synchronization and better management of user data.
Challenges we ran into
Creating an effective garbage collection route optimization system was a technological challenge. It requires algorithms to assess geographical data and dynamically adjust routes in response to real-time inputs.

We learned how to code in flutter and also learn how to use api based database first time
What's next for Trash To Cash
We plan to expand slowly in other hackathons and probably fix all the skill issue we have in programming.
