Inspiration
This prototype and overall idea was created out of a terrible tragedy from my Alma Matter (The Buffalo Seminary), that lacks the proper resources to deal with mental illness and other crisis services.
How it works
Initially to be a call based app, it has now shifted to being a primarily anonymous sms based application that allows a student in crisis to access a volunteer database to immediately chat with without having to give away information on themselves.
Challenges I'm running into & What's Next
I am learning how to program as we speak, but I'm a UX Designer foremost. Thus, I'm still trying to figure out how to exactly get a true functioning prototype to really get this idea off the ground.
