Techtorial

Hello, we are team Techtorial - an educational tool for any tech rookies! Our mission is to help those new to tech have a fun learning experience on computers using a series of interactive mini-games.

Inspiration

Our team was inspired by the interactive tutorials included in softwares like Figma.

What it does

Techtorial includes a series of interactive mini-games that allows users to practice basic computer skills. It also contains a small gamification feature to reward the user and keep them motivated throughout their workout.

How we built it

We designed and made a prototype using Figma. We exported and coded it using a Figma to HTML plugin then added react features. Logo design was done on Adobe Illustrator

Challenges we ran into

One biggest challenge we had was the exporting from Figma to React. We had problems exporting the images with the right scale and positions and manual modifications had to be done. Another challenge was time management; we had some challenges fitting every task into the 36-hour limit.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we are able to see our ideas come to life.

What we learned

We learned the importance of teamwork, participation and time mamagement.

What's next for Techtorial

We wish that Techtorial could be actually introduced to and done by our target audience.
