PROBLEM STATEMENT

Child Labor is worst in every form. It's not a secret that child labor exists on an extensive scale in Pakistan. It directly targets a Child’s Future for worst. It not only snatches Childhood but also causes damages to his health. Denying children their fundamental right to be educated between the ages of five to 16 exposes them to health hazards, hampers their development and puts them at risk to other forms of violence, which may also be physical and psychological. So, In this era of Technological Development, it’s necessary to find solutions which combat this Problem.

OBJECTIVE

Raising awareness about Child labor through Games

WHAT WE DO

Educate with games is bringing an initiative named "From Road To School" which actually trying to raise awareness about child labor through Games. So, we are targeting the 30% of the Smart Phone users in the world to use our Games and help us in Educating about Child Labor. We want people to play our Fun Games. Games has a power to attract a huge number of People form. So, we are planning to Generate revenue through 2-ways. 1 by playing games/through Adds/making game purchases and secondly by making Donations. The Generated Revenue will be used solely for the purpose of Eradicating Child labor. It may include bearing educational expenses of a child, learning him/her some valuable Vocational skill, it can help a poor kid afford his House expenses or it can help by giving him a Bicycle for ride.

How We ARE DOING

We are developing solutions for Eradicating this problem. We are trying to take Game Development to a new level through this. It’s a Joint effort of Game Developers, Software Engineers, Graphic Designers and Content writer. A complete story of a child who was facing child labor which was forced on him. He will keep moving until he finds a way to a independence life and can full fill his dreams. At the end of the day he beet all of his hurdles and reach on top by getting education.

LAWS

The Governmental laws are very strict but we see a very less implementation. In 1999, the ILO(International Labor Organization) led the Worst Forms Convention, signed by 151 countries, which prohibits the worst forms of child labor such as: Debt Bondage Child Trafficking All forms of Slavery or Slavery-like practices Forced Recruitment of Children in Armed Conflict Prostitution Production of Pornography Drug Production and Trafficking Any Hazardous Work

• Pakistan Ranks at No. # 3 in the world with the highest presence of child and forced labor • About 15 million Children are experiencing the child labor, which makes 7% of the total population of Pakistan. • There is a 4-Fold increase in child labor in Pakistan in the past 20 years. • Persistence of child labor through Ages • Malnourished Citizens are produced • Labored Child is unable to participate in Country’s Development

What's next for Team EG (Educate with Games)

We will partner with reliable NGO’s like Edhi Foundation, National Child labor Rehabilitation Centre etc. This initiative will help us to gain Trust and partnering will enable efficient working. In near future, We will repeatedly develop more and more games with more effectiveness. All that matters at the end is Quality and effectiveness of work.
