Inspiration
We noticed that many cities still face problems like overflowing dustbins, poor waste segregation, and unnecessary garbage truck routes.
What it does
SwachhPath helps monitor dustbins in real time, guides people to dispose of waste correctly, allows people to dispose of waste correctly, allows users to request bulk waste pickup, and helps municipal authorities collect waste more efficiently.
How we built it
We planned the system using smart bins with sensors, a cloud database, a mobile app, an AI chatbot, and a dashboard for municipal authorities. Each module works together to improve waste management.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was combining different ideas into one simple system. We also had to make sure that every feature was practical and could be implemented in real-world conditions.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of building a solution that not only monitors dustbins but also connects citizen and municipal authorities through a single platform.
What we learned
The project helped us understand how different technologies can work together to solve everyday problems. We also learned the importance of designing solutions that are practical, not just innovative.
What's next for SwachhPath: Smart Waste Management System
Our next goal is to build a working prototype, test it with real users, and improve the system based on feedback. We also want to make waste collection more accurate using real-time data.
