Inspiration
More and more new generations are having a hard time being productive on their own. Now more than ever, people are looking for "accountability" buddies to help them focus on their studies. Our app/website is purely dedicated for this purpose, and will help people find buddies to aid their productivity.
What it does
It matches users looking for accountability buddies by location, times available, gender and age and gives them a chat room to coordinate meeting details.
How we built it
iOS app with XCode Website with Node.js and React Design Prototype with Adobe XD (voice control enabled) Google Map API and Place API
Challenges we ran into
It was hard to plan ahead and collaborate together on a single app. We had a wide range of skill sets, 2 designers, 1 android dev, 1 web dev, 1 ios dev, so we flipflopped between making an android app, to making a website, to making an iOS app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made a prototype website AND an iOS app And an Adobe XD prototype. We also got along pretty well and we had lots of fun.
What we learned
We learned about different cultures (America vs. Canada). We also learned about how we work under exhaustion and small portion sizes.
