Submitted! Here's where Street Eats stands at the close of Shipaton.

In 51 days we went from App Store approval to a working two-sided marketplace, built trucks first, on purpose:

  • 450+ hours of live truck broadcasting on the map
  • 218 registered users, up about 2.9x since mid-August
  • 254 first-time installs across iOS and Android
  • 66.1% Google Play store listing conversion
  • 5.0 stars on both stores, from two different partner trucks
  • Nearly 800 followers across Instagram, YouTube, X and LinkedIn, all organic

What's next, during judging:

  • Version 2.0.0 brings Book a Truck: find a truck, see the menu, chat with the operator, schedule and pay in-app. Trucks keep 95% of every booking, and guests cover their own card processing.
  • The map goes nationwide, because our users asked for it.
  • Our first membership truck converts from trial to paid on October 4.
  • We launch Book a Truck in Montgomery County and Greater Houston, then Phoenix, Austin, Kansas City and Springfield, MO.

Huge thanks to our partner trucks who've built this with us from day one. You're the reason the map is real.

Want to try it? Download Street Eats on the App Store or Google Play. Truck owners get the first month free.
