Inspiration

I have a 16 year old who is learning to drive, it makes me nervous.

What it does

Monitors a drivers speed, alerting the parent when they are speeding.

How we built it

We built it in android studio, acessing the gps data to get local speed limits, their current speed, and then acessed androids api to send text messages

Challenges we ran into

Parsing xml data from a URL post to get the local speed limits, and sending text messages from in an app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

All of it, we actually got everything working!

How you can't parse xml into a text file easily.
