Ever forgotten to do something? With meds, it’s especially important to do so. Introducing Smart Pill, an automated pill dispenser that employs IoT, integrated logging, and a comprehensive phone app.

Smart Pill is an automated medicine dispenser. It lights up the correct day of the week that you need to take medicine for, solving the problem of taking the wrong day’s set of meds. Furthermore, after you have open the compartment, an internal circuit is broken and prompts an app on your phone to log the intake. Automatic medicine tracking is a brand new application of IoT. Currently on the market, medicine trackers are either offline, non-automatic, or both. We’re the first pillbox to have 0 friction in logging. Simply take and go—no manual logging, scanning, or button-pushing necessary. This is especially helpful for young kids learning to take medicine on their own or the elderly who struggle to operate technology. People outside the medicine-taker can also be alerted, like parents and caretakers. For people who absolutely need their medicine, akin to insulin or other life-dependent substances, our product provides a reliable blanket of security. We hope to be helpful in people establishing healthy lifestyles.
