Inspiration

 In emergency situations, reaching the hospital is only one part of the problem. Patients and families may not know which hospital has an available bed, while ambulances may spend valuable time searching for a suitable hospital.
  We were inspired to build LifeLine to address this coordination gap between patients, ambulances, and hospitals. Our goal is to make emergency transportation and hospital admission more connected and efficient.

What it does

   Smart Ambulance Dispatch & Hospital Bed Availability System is a healthcare coordination platform designed to connect patients, ambulance drivers, hospitals, and administrators in one system.
   The system helps patients request ambulance services and enables hospitals to provide information about their available beds. It supports the emergency journey from ambulance request → ambulance arriving → hospital admission → discharge.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was designing a system that supports multiple users with different responsibilities.
A patient, ambulance driver, hospital, and administrator all have different workflows. We needed to make sure that information was updated correctly between these roles.
