SHEGUARD X

SHEGUARD X is an offline-first emergency safety system built to help users instantly trigger SOS alerts even in panic situations or poor network conditions.

*Inspiration The idea came from a simple problem — in real emergencies, people often cannot think clearly, and sometimes there is no stable internet or time to type messages. We wanted to build something that works instantly, even under pressure.

*What We Built We built a fast emergency response web system that:

*Captures live GPS location using Geolocation API Generates a structured SOS message automatically Sends alerts via SMS, WhatsApp, or copy-to-clipboard Supports voice-based emergency trigger (simulation mode) Works in offline or low-network conditions using fallback logic

*What We Learned We also understood how important UI simplicity is in panic situations.

*Challenges Faced Handling location permission errors and fallback cases Simulating offline behavior in a browser environment Managing media/microphone permissions across devices Making the UI simple enough for emergency use

*Result A lightweight, fast, and reliable emergency system designed for real-life panic scenarios where every second matters.
