Inspiration

  • Capture the frustration of students and faculty at the University of Waterloo regarding the excessive amount of goose feces around campus.

What it does

  • Through this game, users have the opportunity to express their frustration about the goose poop around campus and to have fun!

How we built it

  • We built it using Unity, C# and Blender. The cut scene at the start was made using Adobe Illustrator to create the assets and then Adobe Animate to create the sequence.

Challenges we ran into

  • We had to pivot a lot during the hackathon due to hardware shortages and ended up deciding to build a game.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through this hackathon, we were able to develop new skills and enjoy workshops on a variety of topics. While incomplete, this game was a fun idea we were able to learn from and work on as a team.

What we learned

  • We learned how to use Unity and Blender for the first time.
  • Write scripts in Unity for motion.
    • Animate using Unity

What's next for SH*?! & FEATHERS

The project will hopefully be completed and improved.
