Sentinel Always watching. Always learning. Sentinel discovers hidden risks across your enterprise and takes action before someone even reports a problem.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Most enterprise systems wait for someone to report a problem. Sentinel doesn't.

The problem: Enterprise issues rarely show up in one place. They appear as weak signals scattered across support tickets, CRM activity, customer conversations, operational metrics, and knowledge bases — each looking harmless on its own. By the time a human connects the dots, the issue is already visible, already painful, and already reported by an angry customer.

What Sentinel does: Sentinel is a proactive enterprise intelligence agent that continuously watches these signals, correlates the ones that matter, and investigates emerging patterns before they become incidents. It runs a full agentic loop — Observe → Detect → Correlate → Investigate → Explain → Decide → Act → Monitor — and if its first fix doesn't work, it adapts and tries another approach instead of stopping.

Example: Support ticket volume climbs 25%. Refund requests climb 40%. CSAT drops 8%. A pricing change went live last week. No single system flags an incident — each metric just looks like noise. Sentinel correlates them, forms a hypothesis ("the pricing change is driving refunds and dissatisfaction"), investigates the evidence, estimates business impact and affected customers, and proposes or executes a remediation — before a single customer files an escalation.

What makes it different: Sentinel isn't a chatbot, a RAG assistant, a dashboard, or an anomaly detector. Those all require a human to ask a question or notice a spike. Sentinel's intelligence comes from correlating weak signals across otherwise disconnected systems — turning "everything looks fine individually" into "here's the problem nobody reported yet."

Impact: Faster time-to-detection on business-critical issues, less reliance on customers to be the alarm system, and an enterprise agent that gets ahead of problems instead of triaging them after the damage is done.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

  1. Enterprise problems rarely appear in one system — they emerge as weak signals scattered across many.
  2. By the time a problem is reported, it's already visible to your customers.
  3. No single dashboard sees the whole picture — so no one notices until it's too late.

SOLUTION

  1. An autonomous agent that discovers, investigates, and acts on problems before humans report them.
  2. Sentinel correlates weak enterprise signals into early, actionable warnings — then acts on them.
  3. A proactive agent that finds the story your systems haven't told you yet.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

  • Chatbots and RAG systems answer questions you already know to ask. Sentinel surfaces the questions you didn't know you had.
  • Dashboards show you metrics. Sentinel tells you what the metrics mean together — and what to do about it.
  • Traditional automation runs a fixed workflow after a trigger. Sentinel forms its own hypothesis from correlated evidence first.
  • Basic anomaly detection flags one metric spiking. Sentinel connects multiple, individually-unremarkable signals into a single explained problem.
  • The core shift: reactive systems wait for "user asks → AI answers." Sentinel runs "enterprise changes → Sentinel notices → connects evidence → investigates → decides → acts."

DEMO SCENARIO

Initial state: A SaaS company's support and CX systems look routine — nothing has been escalated as an incident.

Signals Sentinel observes:

  • Support ticket volume up 25% week-over-week
  • Refund requests up 40%
  • CSAT down 8%
  • A pricing/plan change shipped six days ago
  • Several enterprise accounts independently mentioning the new pricing in ticket text

Hidden issue: The recent pricing change is quietly driving cancellations and dissatisfaction — but no single system has flagged it as an incident.

Sentinel's reasoning: It correlates the four signals, notices they cluster in time around the pricing change, forms the hypothesis "pricing change → refund/CSAT impact," pulls supporting ticket evidence, and estimates confidence and affected customer count/revenue at risk.

Action taken: Sentinel raises "Unreported business issue detected," proposes a remediation (e.g., grandfathering affected accounts or escalating to the pricing team), and — if configured — triggers the first step via Freshworks tooling.

Final outcome: The issue is identified, explained, and acted on before a single customer needed to escalate — with Sentinel continuing to monitor whether the action resolves the trend or whether it needs to adapt.
