Update, Oct 2: after the first submission I tested ScamShield against a 40-request labeled set (20 scams, 20 safe invoices, including look-alike senders, prompt injection and Hinglish). Before the fixes, 6 scams got through with the AI on. After adding payment-specific rules, none got through (median check time 1.3 s). If the AI review does not answer, checkout now stays locked instead of opening on rules alone. Caveat: in a fast burst of 40 requests Gemini answered only 23, so some safe invoices were locked during that run. A single check works normally. The checkout line also says the sandbox payment goes to the demo merchant, not the payee in the request, and that the payee is not verified. I removed leftover UPI wording from the payment page. The server now has 61 passing tests. The test set and runner are in the repo (server/eval).
