Inspiration
There is a good and a bad side in every person. Instead of making angel or devil effects separately, we aimed to bring the two sides together. In our research, the lack of such filters on Snapchat also motivated us.
What it does
It shows you that there are 2 different sides of your face and body. On the left side of the camera is your demonic part and on the right is your angelic part. We have created our filter a little serious and a little fun so that we can appeal to everyone.
How we built it
We edited the pictures that we drew ourselves or that we were free to use under a free license with the help of adobe illustrator and photoshop. We then used them to combine our effect using the binding property. In addition, we arranged the aligning additions by making the head center for the wing part.
Challenges we ran into
We observed that it is much more difficult to decide what kind of effect to create than to create the effect. As a result of our long research, we found a topic that we thought was not enough in the market and we created our filter on that subject.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created the project in a short time and put it to the test, including our close friends. The positive percentage of the feedback we received made us happy and strengthened our belief in this filter.
What we learned
We learned that the interface of Snapchat's filter program is so easy to use, we also learned how to be faster and more creative during the design process.
What's next for Angel-Demon
We look forward to creating new filters and bringing them to life. We've already rolled up our sleeves.
