While BEACON SAR was created for search and rescue, our research showed that the technology can support many other applications.
Possible future uses include:
- Early wildfire detection
- Ecosystem monitoring
- Air quality tracking
- Disaster prediction support
A system built to protect people can also help protect the environment.
