Inspiration

Environmental decline in puget sound region affecting salmon populations.

What it does

Raises awareness for salmon population and marine ecosystem health through an informative and interactive fun run. This is accompanied with an app that will play informative audio clips reflecting the challenges that salmon faces, as you experience similar challenges on the route. We also designed a promotional poster to spread awareness for the event itself, and the motivation behind it.

How we built it

We built the poster in adobe illustrator, and put together the app in figma wireframing.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a clean, user-friendly app layout and consistency between different deliverables across the four participants.

What's next for Salmon Run

Preparing for the fun run by getting city permits, organizing the 10 salmon challenges, and coding our wireframes into android and iOS apps.
