Inspiration:

SafeHer was inspired by real-life safety issues faced by women in daily life.
The goal was to create a simple and accessible solution that can help women feel safer using technology.

What it does:

SafeHer is a women safety web application designed to help women during emergency situations.
It allows users to quickly send emergency alerts and share their live location so they can get help faster.
The project focuses on simplicity and quick access, especially in unsafe or stressful situations.

How we built it:

We built SafeHer using basic web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
The main focus was to create a responsive and easy-to-use interface that works well on different devices.
We used simple logic and clean design to make sure the emergency features are easily accessible.

Challenges we ran into:

One of the main challenges was designing a simple user interface that works quickly in emergency situations.
Another challenge was handling responsiveness and understanding how location-related features work in a web environment.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We are proud of building a complete working prototype that focuses on a real-world problem.
Completing the project within the hackathon time and creating a user-friendly design was a big achievement.

What we learned:

Through this project, we learned how to structure a real-world project, improve frontend development skills,
and understand the importance of user experience in safety-related applications.

What's next for SafeHer:

In the future, we plan to add real-time location tracking, a mobile app version,
and integration with emergency services to make SafeHer more powerful and reliable.
