Inspiration

Rising concerns about women's safety in public and online spaces inspired us to create SAFE HER - a one-stop platform for immediate help and awareness.

What it does

• One-Tap SOS with Real-Time GPS Location Tracking
• Auto-shares location with emergency contacts via WhatsApp/SMS
• Cybersecurity Awareness Module for women
• Safe zone mapping and helpline numbers
• Works on all devices

How we built it

Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and deployed on Netlify. Used Browser Geolocation API for real-time tracking.

Challenges we ran into

Making GPS accurate and SOS work with one click on mobile was challenging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully built and deployed a live working women safety platform.

What we learned

Geolocation API, Netlify deployment, and how tech can solve social problems.

What's next for SAFE HER

Add police integration, voice-activated SOS, and self-defense chatbot.
