Roll n Bounce is a 2D game for Android, iOS and Windows platforms. It’s a arcade challenging game with interactive game play. We have a ball as hero and also balls as enemies with immersive game play which makes the game really very challenging.

Inspiration

Till now we have seen many games with fruits, candy’s, birds and etc., so we thought why not balls? Balls play a major role in every child’s life which they get to know about in their early ages. We have zeroed with above six balls for the first major version which we are planning to release.

What it does

Here our player and obstacles are the balls as our game concept lies in that theme. As the ball goes along, if at all it collides with the same ball (cricket ball to cricket ball) then the player can acquire special power up Magnet life x2 speed control.. If not the game will end there, initially we are planning a endless runner concept. In fact player we have different game modes to unveil as he completes the tasks. (though we have separate game mode section)

How I built it

We build it using Unity3D and programmed in C# designed assets in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Blender. We have planned final version of the game connected to Azure App Service for cloud features.

Challenges I ran into

It was really very challenging. Developing it in small span of time is really tough. Though we have come down with few assets prior to event we could complete only some part of the game.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We have accomplished to make the player ball and obstacles run as expected and UI was built in convincible way which was really a great accomplishment.

What I learned

I learned time management by coding such huge programs in this span of time.

What's next for Roll n Bounce

We have to complete the game with all the features mentioned in the PPT and release it by end of November or at most by December 1st week.
