The Problem

Every year, over 1.5 lakh people die on Indian roads. Most of them survive the crash - but die waiting for help during the "golden hour." Help never arrives because:

  • The victim is unconscious and cannot call for help
  • There is no mobile signal in remote areas
  • Nearby hospitals don't know the victim is coming
  • Bystanders fear legal trouble and don't help

Our Solution - ResqPath

ResqPath is an AI-powered road emergency response system - available as an Android app and a web app - that silently monitors your journey, automatically detects crashes using phone sensors, and takes action even when you can't.

How It Works

  1. Silent crash detection - Phone accelerometer detects crash-level impact automatically. No user action needed.

  2. 30-second safety window - "I'm Safe" button appears. If not cancelled, SOS fires automatically.

  3. Offline mesh relay - If no signal, SOS broadcasts via Bluetooth to nearby phones which relay it forward until the message reaches a phone with internet.

  4. Real nearby services - Fetches actual hospitals, police stations, towing services, and fuel stations near the victim using live GPS and OpenStreetMap data.

  5. Hospital pre-alert - Nearest trauma unit receives victim's name, blood group, medical conditions, and ETA before the ambulance arrives.

  6. Digital police report - Auto-generates FIR with GPS coordinates, timestamp, and sensor impact data sent to nearest police station.

  7. First aid guide - Nearby users get notified. Step-by-step guide customised to victim's medical profile. Good Samaritan legal protection shown.

  8. Samaritan Points - Helpers earn verified points redeemable for fuel discounts, hospital fast-track, and insurance reductions.

Three Portals in One System

  • Public App - For drivers and road users (Android APK + web)
  • Hospital Portal - Live pre-alerts, victim medical profile, bed status
  • Police Portal - Digital FIR, GPS location, evidence viewer

Not even Apple's crash detection (iPhone 14+ only) works in dead zones - ResqPath does.
