About the Project SentinelAI – AI-Powered Early Warning & Emergency Response Platform
Natural disasters and emergencies often require rapid decision-making, but traditional reporting systems can be slow, fragmented, and difficult to coordinate. SentinelAI was built to address this challenge by combining artificial intelligence with real-time incident management.
SentinelAI enables users to report emergency incidents through an intuitive web interface. Each report includes information such as the incident type, description, location, and risk level. The platform then uses AI to automatically analyze the report, estimate the potential risk, and generate actionable recommendations for emergency responders.
The application visualizes incidents on an interactive OpenStreetMap dashboard, allowing authorities to quickly understand where events are occurring and prioritize their response. A built-in AI assistant also provides guidance and answers questions related to emergency situations.

SentinelAI demonstrates how artificial intelligence can support emergency management by helping organizations detect incidents faster, assess risks automatically, and improve situational awareness through interactive mapping. The platform is designed as a foundation that can be extended with live sensor data, weather information, satellite imagery, and real-time notification systems to support future smart-city and disaster response initiatives.
