Natural disasters can threaten lives and cause significant damage. We wanted to develop a smart solution that helps people access emergency information, plan evacuations, and respond effectively during disasters.

What it does

RESQ AI is an AI-powered disaster response platform designed to provide emergency alerts, evacuation planning, location-based assistance, and emergency resource management. It aims to help people make informed decisions and improve coordination during emergencies.

How we built it

We built RESQ AI using modern web technologies, including React and TypeScript for the frontend and backend services for application functionality. We integrated location-based features and designed a user-friendly interface to make emergency information accessible.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges integrating frontend and backend services, handling location data, connecting APIs, managing application errors, and deploying the platform. We worked through these issues by testing features and improving the application.
