Doomscrolling is often used to cope with stress, but it can reinforce unhealthy digital habits, leading to fatigue, anxiety, and burnout. Our app helps redirect this distraction toward healthier activities, replacing mindless scrolling with more intentional routines. By promoting positive habits, we aim to help users reclaim their time, reduce stress, and find balance in an engaging way.

Many people feel stuck in a cycle of endless notifications, digital overload, and mindless scrolling. It wastes time, drains energy, and leaves users feeling disconnected. Despite knowing these habits are harmful, many find it hard to escape the loop.

Through research, we looked at apps designed to address unhealthy screen use. Many focus on screen breaks, while others use journaling or tools like app blockers to limit screen time. Though helpful, most rely on restriction or passive tracking, often feeling like chores rather than inspiring meaningful engagement.

We saw an opportunity to take a more playful, personalized approach. People are more motivated to change when the habits align with their interests. Our app combines foundational habits—like sleep, exercise, and healthy eating—with personalized missions based on users' preferences. For example, if a user loves art and nature, their virtual companion might invite them to take pictures of flowers, trees, or other natural elements they find on a walk, and then complete a drawing based on those images. This mix of core wellness and personal goals keeps the experience both grounded and engaging.

Users can join 7-day co-op challenges with friends to complete themed quests and earn rewards. This drives engagement and motivates users to push themselves toward personal growth. Daily goals offer structure, with the avatar supporting small habits like walking or mindfulness.

The app encourages time outside of the phone—with a companion. Whether with a virtual buddy or friends, users are never alone. By making wellbeing feel like an adventure, not a chore, we help users create lasting change through fun, connection, and small intentional moments.
