Inspiration

Street Fighter and Yei-Ar Kung-Fu

What it does

In this game, you'll play as a street fighter and battle against a single enemy outside a haunted house. The controls are simple: use the a and d keys to move your fighter left and right, and press the space bar to jump. Your fighter has a set of moves, including punches, kicks, and special attacks, which you can use to defeat your opponent.

The game has a single level, where you'll face off against your opponent in a one-on-one battle. Your opponent will be harder, so practice and master your moves.

How we built it

We made the entire game in pygame using vs code ide. All the sprites were designed in Illustrator frame-by-frame.

Challenges we ran into

Animating different stuff was quite tedious but we managed to make them smooth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Overall, this game is an excellent throwback to the classic street fighting games of the past. With its simple controls, pixelated graphics and sound, it's sure to provide entertainment. So, why not try it and see if you have what it takes to be the street fighting champion?

What we learned

We learned how to make games and basic animation in python using pygame. We also learned about 8-bit animations and sprite sheets.

What's next for RazeXFighter

We are very exited to add new players and more levels to the game.
