Inspiration

Many customers in the restaurant asked for information about several colonial landmarks in Quito and motivated on expanding their experience, we wanted to create virtual interaction with the use of technology by sharing valuable information.

What it does

we´ve located digital colonial landmarks, in front of the panoramic view at the restaurant's window, showing those points with information and photographs.

How we built it

By the use of geolocation tools, AR core, photoshop, illustrator and artificial intelligence technologies, we´ve been able to establish our coordinates by triangulating the most important landmarks around the Historical Center in the city of Quito in order to communicate what we have on those points.

Challenges we ran into

The efficient use of resources without overloading the network connection of the restaurant. Calibrating the set up points that are going to be explained at the moment you ran the application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

At the time we´ve heard about the technology that google are promoting, we´ve got encouraged to learn and use those tools, sharing applications of virtual experience with valuable information to our customers
