I used Electron Vue as a quick electron app scafold, and set it up with webpack hot reloader and dev server. (I ended up not even using this though and using location.reload().
I used React, Aphrodite, Redux, TypeScript, Clarifai, along with some minor stuff like PostCSS for global CSS.
