Inspiration

Postaly was born out of the need to find postal codes in Chile in a free, fast, and modern way—through an interactive map. It offers an easy and intuitive experience for users looking up their postal code, especially in Chile.

What it does

At Postaly, we believe that reliable location information should be accessible to all. Our mission is to provide a simple, intuitive tool that helps users quickly find postal codes and address details for any place in the world—especially in Chile.

How I built it

Postaly is powered by OpenStreetMap (OSM), a global, community-driven project that creates and maintains a free, editable map of the world. For postal codes in Chile, Postaly first queries the official Correos Chile postal code database through the Chilean Postal Codes API

What's next for Postaly

Integrate official postal code information APIs from across the Americas and around the world.
