PortalAgent is evolving.
PortalAgent started as an idea to help businesses identify relevant local opportunities. It has now become a working AI agent built with Google ADK, Gemini and Google Cloud.
Recent progress:

- Local business discovery and web analysis
- AI-generated outreach drafts
- Persistent draft storage with Firestore
- Configurable targets based on industry, location and user needs
- User-specific access and cloud security
The goal is to move beyond AI that only answers questions and build an agent that can research, analyze and take useful actions.
PortalAgent is now entering its final testing and demo stage for the All Things Agentic Hackathon.
