Just submitted our Scope 3 Footprints to the UON Net Zero Grand Challenge. Very exciting and thanks to our team input and for the amazing job the I2N team have done in facilitating the events and programme leading up to this submission.
The submission focuses on the clearer definition of Scope 3 emissions as they relate to the built environment. The GHG protocol scope 3 categorisation is business oriented which is helpful but could be made clearer by defining spatial dimensions of categories and sub-categories .
I have over many years witnessed a great divide in the business world's understanding of built environment as an integral component of their own pathways.
I hope that Scope 3 Footprints helps bridge this gap.
