Inspiration
The main inspiration was the awesome postman discord group which constantly motivates me to dive more onto APIs
What it does
The project mainly picks the top 10 most populated cities around the globe and plots them onto a map using open layers.
How we built it
Its build mainly using open layer, JavaScript and some html - CSS, a special thank to geojson.io which helped me to compile my API.
Challenges we ran into
I was a bit new to open layer and so it took some time to follow up with the library, also I made a custom API to fit onto my needs more effectively.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am happy that I was able to participate in this as this introduced me to the most needed visualization feature of postman.
What we learned
Effective usage of visualization feature and some what integration of handlebars.
What's next for peuplé
Will try to add some more customizations to the APIs and also will play around on how to visualize the data in more loving way.
