Petugram — Cook. Discover. Share. Waste Less.

Petugram started from a simple, universal frustration: staring into a fridge full of food and still not knowing what to cook — while half of it quietly expires in the back. We kept noticing the same pattern everywhere: wasted groceries, duplicate shopping, and surplus food that could've fed someone but just went in the bin instead.

We didn't want to build "just another recipe app." We wanted something that closes the loop — from managing what you have, to cooking it, to sharing what you don't need, to discovering what's around you. That's why Petugram's user journey is Manage → Cook → Plan → Share → Discover → Create → Connect → Impact — every step feeding into the next.

As two students building this for the OurPlanet.Rocks hackathon, we combined practical software engineering with a cause we actually care about: making sustainability something people want to do because it's fun, social, and rewarding — not a chore.
