NOVA Update: From Idea to Early Traction in 90 Days Build with Gemini XPRIZE Update: NOVA
Over the past 90 days, our team has transformed NOVA (https://novassist.me/) from an idea into a working healthcare navigation platform powered by Gemini.
What started as a hackathon project evolved into a real product tested by users, healthcare professionals, and partner organizations.
What We've Built
AI-powered healthcare navigation experience Clinical encounter and patient management workflows Appointment scheduling capabilities Role-based access controls for patients, providers, and administrators Healthcare-focused AI interactions designed to provide more targeted guidance than general-purpose chatbots Multi-tenant architecture to support organizational deployments
Technical Progress Built and deployed a functional cloud-hosted platform. Leveraged Gemini's free-tier capabilities throughout development. Lessons Learned
One of the biggest insights was that healthcare users are looking for AI tools that are purpose-built for healthcare navigation, not just another general chatbot.
