Inspiration
People are often in need of help for a lot of things, but are unable to find the right people. At the same time, people are willing to help but don't know who to help.
What it does
After posting a request, nearby volunteers on the app will see the request and may claim it.
After the job is done, the individual who received the help will mark the job as done, and the volunteer will receive a coin reward based on the complexity and rarity of the request in question.
Moreover, a feedback/reputation system is in place to ensure the safety and reliability of users on the platform. Users may also confirm "jobs done" of others for a smaller coin rewards.
Coins may be redeemed for gift cards delivered by email (and potentially other prizes).
How we built it

Challenges we ran into
- Minimizing the amount of database reads by optimizing the backend
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Implementing blockchain technology for conducting and recording transactions between users and for redemption
