Inspiration

Recently many fashion brands such as GAP have begun to focus on creating more immersive shopping experiences for customers. We wanted to create a platform where owners of fashion NFT would have access to a community where they could connect with others who share similar interests in fashion.

What it does

Swap a swag is an online platform that allows current fashion NFT owners within the metaverse with an immersive customizable shopping experience where they can swap fashion NFTs with one another.

How we built it

While one of the members of our team was educated in business and the other was educated in engineering. Both shared a passion for designing, building, and creating things. With this being said they were able to pair up and create a product using an interactive designing tool called Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Not all of the members on our team were educated in NFTs, crypto, and the metaverse. But with a quick google search, we were able to apply the knowledge we learned to create a fashion-related product.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to accomplish all of this in 3 days. We were also glad that we were able to create a nice wireframe of what our product would look like to users.

What we learned

We learned a lot about NFTs, crypto, and the metaverse and how all of this is being used to reshape the fashion industry.

What's next for Swap a Swag by MetaGirlz

We wish to spend more time planning a study, come up with the research insights and share with the team, recruit 20 volunteers from our target group to test our product, interview about our platform, and collect feedback from them. After that, we will launch a beta version to observe the flow of a platform and collect feedback from larger scale
