Planify - Meeting Assistant

Inspiration

We all have meetings/lecture/conferences on a daily and i’m sure most of us can’t remember every single detail of it, sometimes we forget even the most important bits, which is why we came up with the idea of a meeting assistant.

What it does

I will basically track your calendar for you, and it automatically records all the meetings it’s been authorized to. Not only that, it will also transcribe the audio recording into text, and then it’s parse it for you to flag out all the important Information based on your personal customizable preferences .

How we built it

Prototype: Figma
Frontend: SwiftUI(framework: EventKit, AVFoundation)
Backend: Python(framework and libraries: Spacy, Whisper)

Challenges we ran into

We never had any experience with iOS development before, so it is a completely new area for us. We also had to learn SwiftUI from ground up but we managed to get a good product by the end.
