Inspiration
The inspiration that I had was when the Background image showed up on the presentation projector of Iron Man. I thought "JARVIS!!" So I decided to make a Program that could function similar to JARVIS from Iron Man within the 12 hours that were given.
What it does
It acts similar to a virtual Assistant, It's receives input from either voice commands or Manual inputs and turns them into functions or other capabilities. It also is capable of face recognition and multiple user profiles for customization. It can check for your emails and send emails for you. It can check the weather and play music that you have on your Computer. You can also surf Facebook and get Reports on Famous people and events. Also allowing for screenshots and other capabilities to control the User's PC.
How I built it
I used Mostly Visual Studio for the coding and compilation. I then used Photoshop for the Icons and Logos. I then used Dreamweaver to get the Portable app interfaces done, Like the weather app and the Facebook app. It then uses a 16char 128bit Encryption to secure the user's files and information.
Challenges I ran into
User permissions on the PC being used. As well as Memory usage.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Allowing to send texts back and forth through Gmail and a Compatible phone Carrier. To control MARLY.
What I learned
Memory Management and to solve any Memory Leaks.
What's next for MARLY an Artificially Intelligent Digital Assistant
I hope to get this done further more and soon be able to distribute it to the public.
