Inspiration
Farmers carry enormous responsibility for food security while making daily decisions under uncertain weather, rising input costs, labor constraints, fragmented records, and changing markets. Many still move between paper, messaging apps, spreadsheets, weather sites, product labels, and memory. Advanced farm software is often too expensive, too complex, or designed for a single crop or one narrow part of the season.
LT AgriOS is being built to give farmers one practical operating system that follows a crop from intention to income. The goal is not to replace farmer judgment. It is to organize evidence, reduce administrative work, explain risks, and help authorized users turn decisions into coordinated, traceable action.
What it will do
LT AgriOS V1.0 is a mobile-first Android farm operating system distributed only through Google Play. It supports multiple farms, fields, crops, varieties, and overlapping seasons across the full lifecycle:
Planning → land preparation → establishment → nutrition and water → pest and disease control → harvest → post-harvest → produce marketing.
The V1.0 product plan includes:
- A role-aware farmer dashboard for safety, climate risk, today's work, crop stage, spraying and fertilizer readiness, water status, crop health, finance, harvest, market activity, and sync freshness.
- Eight launch crops: rice, maize, wheat, soybean, tomato, potato, banana, and sugar cane.
- Global Core recordkeeping for approved Play countries, with the Philippines as the initial regulated country pack.
- Offline-first farm records and task capture for intermittent connectivity.
- Immediate or scheduled instructions from authorized owners, managers, supervisors, or fellow farmers, with recipient confirmation, progress, completion or non-completion, feedback, evidence, and verification.
- Deterministic crop-task notifications using approved crop rules, weather and climate context, with safeguards for pesticide and fertilizer content.
- Cost tracking and forecasting for inputs, labor, logistics, storage, market fees, and other expenses.
- Revenue and margin scenarios plus a labor output-share calculator.
- Harvest lots, post-harvest records, produce listings, buyer-ready sell sheets, inquiries, offers, and sale outcomes.
- Paid fertilizer and pesticide supplier accounts for versioned product records, SDS/MSDS, labels, registration evidence, and usage/application guides. Supplier payment buys catalog capacity only—not product approval, ranking, farmer data, or recommendation influence.
GODWINN AI
The user-facing AI chat is named GODWINN AI and will use Gemini through Google Cloud/Vertex AI.
GODWINN AI is restricted to agriculture, crops, soil, water, agricultural weather and climate, food data and safety, and directly related farm operations and markets. Politics, elections, geopolitics, war, ideology, and unrelated topics are refused before retrieval or model use.
Every AI output is recommendation-only. It must display a visible disclaimer, confidence, sources, and missing evidence. AI can explain, summarize, prioritize, translate, and prepare drafts, but it cannot approve, certify, guarantee, impersonate a user, or perform an irreversible farm or business action. A separate authorized-user confirmation is required before changing plans, creating regulated actions, issuing instructions, finalizing calculations, publishing, sharing, purchasing, or deleting.
For pesticide and fertilizer content, supplier-uploaded material is supplemental and visibly attributed. It cannot replace the current approved physical label or official jurisdiction source. Missing, expired, conflicting, or unmatched regulated data fails closed.
Planned architecture
The approved V1.0 engineering baseline uses:
- Expo React Native and TypeScript for one Android phone/tablet application.
- Supabase Postgres, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, explicit grants, and row-level security.
- Encrypted SQLite and a transactional outbox for offline operation.
- Gemini through a provider adapter, planned on Vertex AI/Google Cloud for the contest build.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android notifications.
- RevenueCat with Google Play Billing for subscriptions.
- Mapbox for mapping and licensed paid offline regions.
- Open-Meteo and approved official sources for weather and climate context.
- Automated source validation, document scanning, provenance, expiry, safety policy, billing reconciliation, and circuit breakers.
Customer-facing operation is designed to be user-driven and AI/deterministic-automation powered, with no platform-admin impersonation, manual customer entitlement, or human moderation queue. AI still cannot bypass safety policy or the authorized user's decision.
Business model
LT AgriOS uses a self-service Google Play subscription model.
Free Access remains a normal product tier for essential records, offline workflows, local deterministic calculators, static references, and basic listings. It includes zero metered AI, vision, personalized paid weather/terrain, commercial offline-map, or cloud-media allowance.
Paid farmer plans—Smallholder Plus, Farm Pro, and Farm Business—scale by active hectares, farms, and users. Separate Supplier Local, Supplier Regional, and Supplier Enterprise plans scale by active products and supplier seats. Prices are localized using three purchasing-power bands so low-income markets remain affordable while larger operations and high-income markets pay for the scale and value they receive.
Every paid entitlement must originate from a user-initiated Google Play purchase managed through RevenueCat. There are no grants, sponsored entitlements, invoices, delivered deployments, external checkout, or manually awarded access.
AI-native operations and category impact
LT AgriOS targets the Small Business Services category. Farms are businesses, but most lack an integrated operating system that combines production, labor, inventory, finance, risk, and market preparation.
AI is planned to operate the business and product through constrained workflows: source ingestion, document extraction, safety classification, crop-task preparation, self-service help, billing reconciliation, anomaly detection, and automated circuit breakers. Humans define goals, supply farm evidence, confirm consequential actions, and remain accountable for real-world decisions.
If successful, LT AgriOS can help small farm businesses keep better records, reduce preventable losses, coordinate work, understand costs and margins, and reach buyers with stronger traceability. It can also create economic opportunities for farm workers, advisers, local service providers, and responsible input suppliers without selling access to private farm data.
Current status
LT AgriOS is currently at the pre-build, build-start baseline. The V1.0 Product Design Specification, engineering blueprint, release tracker, pricing model, AI safety contract, Google Play-only distribution decision, and launch gates have been defined. Product code, production users, production AI execution, and revenue do not yet exist, so this page does not claim otherwise.
What's next
- Complete the M0 foundation gates and initialize the Expo React Native/Supabase repository.
- Configure Gemini through the Google Cloud provider adapter and create reproducible AI execution evidence.
- Build the offline farm → field → crop cycle → plan → task vertical slice.
- Add the dashboard, GODWINN AI, safety validators, finance tools, collaboration, supplier catalog, harvest, and marketing workflows.
- Enable RevenueCat subscriptions during Google Play closed testing.
- Acquire real users and revenue only through the Play-distributed product, while reporting revenue, expenses, users, and AI production evidence truthfully.
- Submit to Google Play production when every safety, privacy, billing, testing, and release gate passes.
The contest deadline will not be used to justify unsafe shortcuts or false claims. If Google Play approval or production evidence is not ready in time, the submission will remain an accurate work-in-progress rather than presenting an unpublished prototype as a shipped business.
