Inspiration
My financial life was a real mess and I couldn't find any kind of system available to fit my needs. All my friends and coworkers missed a system to help care money in an easy way. Something to care about our personal finance life.
What it does
It offers an easy environment to register things to pay or things to receive. The system helps controlling all these bills. People will never forget to pay a bill anymore also they can manage the money they have not to lose so fast!
How I built it
Using Laravel as the main framework and Bootstrap for the front.
Challenges I ran into
Front-end. It's a big challange organizing all the stuffs where people can easily use and understand the system.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I have a few people using and giving feedback. The system can be accessed by the computer, cellphone or tablet and it's really helpfull when I'm on the road and I want to keep track of my money. The interface is clean and it's fast when opening using mobile's internet.
What I learned
Respecting feedbacks, it's very important to hear people's opinion; Coding faster; Scrumming; Manage my time and activities to keep code growing and adding new features every two weeks; working by myself and with teams; studying different programming languages in a short period of time!
What's next for Lohl Finance
Adding Ajax and AngularJS to simplify even more the system's usage; New dashboard; New layout; Less menus, more quality of information;
