When I first started building Lifeline AI, the goal was simple — reduce emergency response time by turning CCTV cameras into intelligent life-saving systems. I wanted to create technology that doesn’t just record incidents but actively responds to them. The initial version focused on detecting road accidents and medical emergencies in real time and routing cases to the nearest suitable hospital. But as I evolved the idea, I realized its potential was far greater. Lifeline AI expanded beyond emergency detection into women’s safety and crime prevention. By enhancing the computer vision models, the system can now identify suspicious activities, violent behavior, and distress situations in public spaces. Instead of reacting after a crime happens, Lifeline AI aims to detect risk patterns early and trigger faster intervention. This journey taught me that innovation grows when purpose grows. What started as an emergency routing system is now shaping into a broader smart-city safety framework — one that prioritizes prevention, rapid response, and public protection. Lifeline AI is not just about AI technology; it’s about building a safer environment where surveillance transforms into proactive security. And this is just the beginning.
