A safe website to empower women to fight against their abusers and seek support

Inspiration

Thousands of women suffer from abuse. We wanted to help women gain the courage and power to fight back and protect themselves from that situation.

What it does

Abusers constantly monitor their girlfriends and check their phones and search history a lot. So, our website is disguised as a pizza delivery website. When someone creates a specific recipe, they are redirected to the real page (Due to time only the button "Menu" redirects, but the website is meant to redirect through a secret website). It is a messaging website where they can contact police and seek support groups. There are different group chats for different languages and locations around the world.

How we built it

We built it with Adobe Illustrator, Replit, HTML, and CSS

Challenges we ran into

It was hard positioning all the text and images through HTML and CSS, since we are all beginners.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created our first website and Ines made a very impressive button that linked the two websites

What we learned

We learned what HTML and CSS was. We also learned how to put text, resize it, add backgrounds, and learned how to code the divs
