What it does

KošiceMapped is a visualization tool that uses open data of city Košice to create useful map of provided services in the area.

How we built it

With pain and suffering (python kivy, with module kivy_garden.mapview)

Challenges we ran into

Outdated module mapview, lack of documentation, sleep deprivation and back pain,

Accomplishments that we're proud of

(100% intentional, and we surely haven't spent 5 hours trying to fix it) feature that circles overlay over each other and form solid color.

What we learned

To choose python modules and libraries with care and don't settle for the first potential solution.

What's next for KosiceMapped

We hope that Košice 2.0 will make use of our product even tho it's not completed.
