Jones Labs Navigator is officially submitted to OpenAI Build Week.
The project evolved from a five-step clarity experience into an adaptive, GPT-5.6-powered decision-support system built around one principle: understanding before recommendation.
Navigator now:
• Begins with one imperfect statement of intention
• Recognizes plausible interpretations as hypotheses—not conclusions
• Adapts to exploratory, informed, and expert users
• Asks no more than one high-information clarification question
• Reveals “The Question Beneath the Question”
• Produces one evidence-based next move
• Preserves human judgment and correction authority
The final optimization focused on subtraction: fewer questions, lower cognitive effort, stronger understanding, and greater decision readiness.
The goal is not to make AI appear more capable. The goal is to make the user more capable.
