Inspiration Students in modern educational establishments encounter several disjointed problems, including; academic data that is spread out across various platforms, inability to navigate enormous campuses, failure to have individual help with challenging classes and being confused in career planning. Although they have digital systems, no single smart ecosystem is combining learning, navigation, and career growth. The gap motivated us to create Heberian, an all-in-one, AI-based academic and career platform to streamline, direct, and empower students in the academic process. What it does Heberian is a smart academic and career ecosystem that brings several smart modules together into a single platform: QueryIQ - Answer academic and institutional queries instantly by means of intelligent search. HeberAtlas – Features intelligent conversational campus navigation, and routing of safety. Crypto Tutor - Program provides syntactically-limited tutoring on Cryptography using AI. HeberHire Bridges is an academic and employability matching academic and skill career matching. These modules all combine to ensure that students can study better, study smarter, and even how to plan their careers with confidence but all on one site. How we built it We have created Heberian as a modular, cloud-native architecture: Frontend React-based elements written in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS. Backend: Serverless, API-based structure of business logic that is modular. AI Layer: Prompt engineering, narrow language models (NLMs), and context-aware reasoning. Database: Json based structured data hosted in the clouds. Scaling: Auto-scaling on cloud hosting. All modules are connected with each other through APIs, making it flexible, scalable, and expandable in the future. Challenges we ran into Creating institution-specific and correct AI answers. Syllabus limited explanations in Crypto Tutor. Organizing information to prevent information overload. Achieving modularity at the same time as a coherent user experience. A strike between smart functionality and usable user interface. Achievements which we are proud of. Created a completely integrated academic ecosystem rather than independent tools. Effectively coordinated educational wise, guiding, and tutoring and career counseling. The architecture of the scalable modular structure prepared to integrate ERP and LMS. A student-based AI platform that is shaped to the actual institutional requirements was created. What we learned The quality and structure of data is the only thing that makes AI systems good. Modular design is very beneficial in scaling and maintenance. Prompts that are context-dependent are essential to meaningful responses of AI. Students prefer simplicity, rapidity, and customization to complicated functionalities. What’s next for Heberian ERP integration and LMS integration. Specialized mobile application.
