Inspiration
We were inspired by people who continue to work outside even through extreme temperatures, such as construction workers, farmers, mailmen, etc. We wanted to create an app that can help them regulate their body temperature in order to stay cool and controlled in the extreme heat.
What it does
Heatly turns invisible body signals heat stress, cognitive strain, hydration into real-time insights, helping you stay safe, focused, and in control in extreme heat.
How we built it
We built Heatly through Figma Make by including an a simple base of our HTML. We explained every feature we wanted on the app and how it should function.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran through as a team was figuring out which topic to go with. We had many ideas and many iterations. However, we ended up sticking to Heatly because we felt like it would impact the most users. Especially those who work in fields outside.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're accomplished to have created a clickable prototype that matches all of our vibes and energy. This prototype shows each of our interests, whether thats color theme and features.
What we learned
We learned how to work in teams that don't live close by. We were able to work around each other's times and create a schedule that would help us work efficiently and effectively.
What's next for Heatly
For Heatly, we hope to create more exciting features that would interact with the user in a more emotional way. Heatly will also be upgraded to send data to Apple Watches, FitBits, etc. to more accurately measure data.
