Forgot to mention these explicitly, but I used the Estimates of Uninsured Population dataset from the US Department of Health and Human Services for the data, and geojson features from Eric Celeste.
Healthcare Map Visualization
A webapp that visualizes the uninsured rate on a county level. Users can see a map of the uninsured rate for each county, and can click on any given county to show information about that county.
