Inspiration
I just wanted to learn something new during this lockdown, so I learnt the software from scratch to accomplish the assigned task
What it does
It gives user the ability to transform someone's face completely via a sophisticated mask which can change its appearance according to the user input
How I built it
I built it using Spark AR studio with the help of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Challenges I ran into
I found it troublesome to put more than 2 instruction on the user screen which were visible for equal amount of time each. I also put a lot of effort in building PBR materials and utilizing the true potential of environmental texture in the materials tab.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I finally solved most of my issues on my own and also improved my existing project by many folds because of the community
What I learned
How to create realistic looking face-mask in Spark AR with physically based materials
What's next for Forbidden Mask
I'll add an animation sequence to both fire and ice part of the mask and make the background response to those changes as well
